The challenge was time - We were tasked to do this in record time. We had two weeks to work on two 30-second animated videos, building everything from scratch (storyboards, asset designs, animation, post-production, etc.). Did we do it? Heck yes!
We had a priority one internal meeting to understand the scope of the work and set deliverable dates for each step of the process. Once we know exactly what we have to do, then our process optimization starts. This means, what can we work on in parallel? We designed the assets directly in the animation software, which allowed us to save time in the migration of assets from one software to another. This also allowed us to make changes in a non-destructive way and without having to do re-processes. Our full team was working on this, but since we have worked together for so long, we are like a Swiss clock, every gear doing its part.
