The task was simple: create a promotional video that explained how Aigent works, the problems it solves, and how it can adapt to the target audience's needs, maintaining a human-centric focus, everything from scratch. This meant "all hands on deck" working simultaneously on the script, moodboard, storyboard, nailing down the visual style and character designs, with no time for reprocesses or mistakes. The due date? 3 weeks, to deliver 5 animated 15-20 second GIFs for promotional teasers + a 30-second fully animated Explainer Video for their event.
We worked on the script and the visual styles in parallel. As we honed down the visual style, we started the character designs based on the approved style. We watched hours of :Ubiquity's meetings with the developer to understand the tool and create a UI design for the application, all while scouting for VO talent as the script was being finalized. Our "all hands on deck" approach is a seamless collaborative approach between our team of designers, animators, creative leads, and PMs, to ensure everyone knows what they have to do, without micro-management. Think of it as a "Pirate Ship", when the storm hits, everyone knows what their role is. Everyone works as a whole!
